I found the gameplay interesting and would love to play it against others in a multiplayer way.
Initially, I was a bit lost to know how I won a turn, and I kept reading the text info at the top instead of only paying attention to the gameplay to see if it was my character or the enemy the one attacking. If you want, you could improve it a little bit in this area.
I can see nice online systems to engage the players like:
Ranked and Friendly matches
Character customization
Items to equip the character like: Armor, Weapon, Helmet, Necklace, Boots, etc...
The items could drop when receiving damage, and the enemy could pick them up.
